tara and phoebe/phoebes

We’ve only been part of K9 Kate’s pack for 2.5 months but we couldn’t love her anymore! Kate has been with my pup Phoebe since she was 9 weeks, starting with puppy visits and recently graduating to adventure walks with the crew.

Kate is trustworthy, a good communicator, honest, flexible, and LOVES her dogs! Phoebe gets so excited when Kate picks her up, I can really tell they have a special bond. I feel a lot better about being at work all day knowing that Phoebe gets to go on an adventure with Kate and her dog-friends each afternoon. Kate provides me updates each day on how Phoebe was on her outing and acts like a partner in ensuring Phoebe receiving the training and experiences she needs as a young pup (leash skills, recall, socialization, puppys first winter…)

Finding a dogwalker for Phoebe was a very stressful process – and I am so thankful that we were referred to Kate. She’s really part of the family now.

Kate is far more of a dogcarer than a dogwalker. She isn’t someone who just picks up “her” dogs and takes them for a walk. She puts all of her formidable energy into taking caring of them. She loves her dogs (especially mine) and my dog absolutely adores Kate. Kate is reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate. Your dog will be much happier (and definitely tired out) if Kate walks him/her. Kate also takes great dog pics!

Cathy and laila/ms. thing

Our dog Laila is part Husky and so runs for ever but often not in the direction you want, so offleash is not an option.  But she has a ton of energy and two walks a day don't cut it.  So when our dog walkers suggested Kate, I was intrigued.

Laila has been with Kate for 7 months and it has been incredible.  She is much better behaved all the time.  Our only issue is she is fitter than everyone else.

Kate is also responsible ... caring and conscientious.

Last, every day I get a picture and update.  And a few times a week I get a video.  The best was Laila running to the Pretty Woman soundtrack.  I couldn't stop laughing.

LISA AND DEXTER (D-MAN)

Kate LOVES dogs and they love her! She will take care of your dog like he/she is her own! Kate is a very kind, lovely and trustworthy person. She is also extremely reliable and dependable, but most importantly, my dog "Dexter" LOVES her and LOVES going on the daily walks and expeditions with Kate and all his furry friends! I would highly recommend Kate and her dog walking, running and boarding services!!

Kate has been walking my Riley since she was 4 months old. She has been so wonderful with Riley. She is 100% committed to making sure that Riley gets ample exercise while also ensuring she has loads of fun and there is also copious amounts of authentic affection. After working with Kate I can't imagine ever hiring anyone else to look after my pup.

Alexis and Nelly/Nelly Belly

Kate has been walking Nelly for over a year and is by far the best walker I've ever had.

Yes, she is reliable and committed but she also goes above and beyond the call of duty for Nelly.  The love and attention she gives to Nelly is amazing and I get to see it firsthand through daily pictures and updates- such a great service!!

Both Nelly and I are very happy!! A ten star service!!

Kate has been terrific with my dog, Muddy. While having started with Kate recently, Muddy is already more confident and loves her outings with Kate. I feel lucky to have found such a terrific, knowledgeable and dependable dog-walker!!! I highly recommend Kate - she is awesome.

CAROL  and Austin/A-town

RUN WITH KATE! Austin became a calmer and happier dog once he started daily runs with Kate.  Before Kate, Austin struggled with other dogs and walked privately with his walker.  Now, he runs with his puppy pack and gets an amazing workout.

Kate provides the perfect mix for dogs like Austin- they need exercise and some training.  They need a good run but the dog park daily is just too much chaos.

I appreciate the updates.  It's been a wonderful experience.

Kate is awesome with our puppy Mack. We get daily updates of his walk, behaviour and any accidents he might have had. She's very reliable and fair. Mack loves her and so do we! Definitely recommend her to everyone!

Julia and Thor and Tundra (T&T)

Kate has been running our troublesome twins Thor and Tundra for a couple months now and they absolutely LOVE IT. They get all their morning energy out while having fun with their furry friends at the same time!! Kate is great with the dogs, they can't wait for their runs with her, she always sends us videos/pics and updates of the dogs and since they started running with her, their on leash behaviour has improved by so much. They have the BEST time in the mornings with Laila, Dexter, Riley, Austin and of course, Kate!! I recommend her service to anyone who has a pup that has too much energy for their own good, she is the best dog runner I have had the pleasure of knowing!!!!

wENDY, angus AND cALLE

My labradoodle puppy started doing morning runs with K9 a few months ago she loves it and comes back exhausted. It has really helped her calm down and get past the puppy sillies. Kate knows her dogs well, understands their needs and takes initiative to offer helpful suggestions. This is a terrific service

This is the most amazing dog service we've had.  Princess is a rescue who tends to shy away from new people.  Kate really seems to have brought her out of her shell.  She is more confident and playful.  Just happier overall.  And Kate is awesome- she's reliable,  gives us free training tips all of the time, knows the dogs and their behaviours through and through, and is just easy to deal with.  We are lucky to have been referred to her by our old walker, Rover Achiever.

Ella, emma, and homer

Kate is the BEST dog walker/adventure guide/pack leader.  Our boy Homer has been with her since he was a pup,  and Kate has played an instrumental role in his walk-training and socialization. He's crazy about her and gives her tons of kisses when she comes to pick him up.

Kate doesn't just walk the dogs, she takes them on all sorts of adventures to parks, ravines, and the lakeshore.  When Homer gets home, he takes a nice long nap, and you know what they say: a tired dog is a happy dog.  And we couldn't be happier either.

She's dependable, affordable and really nice cool person to deal with.  5 stars!
